Chicken Douchi Stir Fry
A savory stir-fry featuring chicken thigh and fermented black beans.
Ingredients
- 2 Tbspvegetable oil
- ginger & garlic paste
- 1 poundchicken thigh
- 2 Tbspdouchi (fermented black beans)
- 2 Tbspsoy sauce
- 2 TbspShaoxing wine
- red bell pepper, sliced
- scallion, sliced on bias, thin
Instructions
Heat oil on HIGH heat, add ginger & garlic, douchi. Saute until fragrant ~5 minutes.
Add chicken and cook until takes on color, then deglaze with soy sauce and Shaoxing wine.
Reduce heat to MEDIUM-LOW, until chicken cooked through and sauce is reduced.
Add red pepper, cook slightly, avoiding losing crunch, garnish with scallion.
