  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.

  6. Fold in oats and any add-ins like raisins, nuts, or chocolate chips if desired.

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden but centers are still soft.

  9. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
